Please get to the polls and cast your ballot, and take friend with you if you can. If you need a ride to the polls, please call campaign headquarters at 912. 691.4903.

Campaign headquarters will be open from 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. on runoff election day, December 6th. Then, our party moves downtown for our viewing party. Please join us at the Inn on Ellis Square starting at 7:00 p.m. for our watch party as the results come in. We will have a cash bar, light refreshements and free parking will be available in the hotel’s garage. We hope to see you there!

I would like to take another opportunity to thank everyone who has lent a hand in some way for this campaign. It is more than just about me, this campaign is about Savannah’s future. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve my city

As support continues to grow, it is essential that we remain focused and energized for this final week before the runoff election. Turnout was low in November, so we must work hard to get more people to the polls on Decemeber 6th. Remember that all registered voters in Savannah are eligible to vote in the runoff, whether or not they voted in November. Tell your friends and family – offer them a ride if it will help get them out to vote.

We still have many volunteer opportunities available during this final week. If you would like to get involved, please contact campaign headquarters at 912.691.4903.

Tuesday, November 8th was an exciting night for the campaign. After the polls closed, we watched the results come in, and saw that our hard work had paid off to the tune of nearly 37% of votes with six candidates running. If you didn’t have a chance to join us that evening, this video will give you a taste of the frenetic pace, great energy and loyal support of campaign volunteers.

We are looking forward to a similar celebratory mood on Tuesday, December 6th, but in order to celebrate, there’s still more work to be done. If you would like to volunteer for the campaign, please call headquarters at 912.691.4903, or stop by 5501 Abercorn St., Suite E. We are having a volunteer meeting Monday, November 21st at 6 p.m.

If you can’t volunteer, please make sure you vote on December 6th. It is essential that all of our supporters return to the polls and cast their ballots again. Also, if you know someone who is registered to vote, but did not do so in the general election, they are still eligible to vote in the runoff.

With a lot of hard work from campaign staff and our wonderful volunteers, we are poised to make history with this campaign. Election day is just over a week away, and it is essential that everyone who can vote does so in this election.

With that said, you don’t have to wait until Tuesday November 8th to cast your ballot. Early voting has been open since mid-October, and remains open until this Friday, November 4th. If you can complete early voting this week, please do so. See the full schedule of times and places you can vote early through this week. You don’t need a special reason to vote early. Also, if you are voting via absentee ballot, the deadline for mailing such ballots is also this Friday. Every vote matters, every vote counts, so make sure you are counted!
